Growth Mindset: Online Survey Software

This is just a quick blog post about an Online Survey Software that I did. It is one of the extra credit from the growth mindset section and it has three measure (parts) on the survey I had to complete and they are straightforward to answer. The survey also asked you to specify your college and the module you chose for doing the survey. Three measure of the survey: Assessing your perceptions of your online educational and learning experience in on specific fully online course that you have taken r are currently taken. Statements about your perceptions of basic psychological needs in online learning environment. Assessing your perceived engagement in online learning environments.

Feedback Thoughts

Rose image link  Here I come.... ANOTHER NIGHT, ANOTHER BLOG😂😂 My blog tonight is all about feedback. Feedback with our thoughts, learning and especially, how we can deal with making mistakes. The first thing that I noticed before reading about the tasks was the huge quote saying this: "Go and make interesting mistakes, make amazing mistakes, make glorious ad fantastic mistakes. Break rules. Leave the world more interesting for your being here. Make. Good. Art." I find it confusing because why? Why does the college encouraged us to make mistakes? Are we not here to study to become perfect and ready for our future? There were so many questions in my head during that time and it all started to become clear when I read the articles.  I first choose to read the article about Neil Gaiman's speech written by Maria Popova. His speech is about advice in creative life, how he became known being a writer and the choices he had to make to reach his dream. He is also not new to me

Tech Tasks: Blogger Template

Hi guys! I just tried some Tech-Tip instructions that could make my Blog-site better. I am already using a mobile-friendly template called "Soho" in Dark Mode and I love it! I also add a picture of me and my cousins during our summer holidays from year 2019 as my background image just to make my blog more personalize and different. Here is the original size of my background image! I also change the background image of my header with the image below. I took this image last year and I love it that way it is because it still look so clear and in detail. The title in the header is still readable as well!   I also find the Tech-tip is very straightforward with its instructions as well so you guys should check them out and try them! Image of a rose that I took last year. I hope you guys like the little change on my blog!  See you on my next blog about Project Feedback!

Game Brainstorm

Roller Splat! Roller Splat!  link The first game game idea I have in mind is Roller Splat! It is a puzzle type of game where you have to roll the paint ball every corner of the maze to complete the levels. This game is very satisfying for people who love relaxing games and puzzles like me 😂. I could play this game for hours and I won't get tired. The game level difficulty is also mixed up which is a good thing in my opinion because you don't have to think about how to accomplish the next game. The aim of this game is to relax so it won't be that challenging as you only want to play it on your spare time. Image of what the game look like. Link I decided to add this as one of my ideas because it is very simple and a fun game to play. The target audience for this is also diverse and everyone can play it. I also think that I can develop this in 2D style and to make my game different from the original, I could add coins through the pathways so the player could earn money to bu

Unity Tutorial 01

Sky screenshot from Unity while doing the lab I just completed the Unity tutorials lab 1.1, 1.2, 1.3! I was so happy that I got to start learning new skills that I could use to create my first game. Even though I found it difficult at the beginning since I was still not familiar how the software work, I still learned a couple of things every stage of the tutorials. Such as getting to use to the tools and creating Assets folders, moving the vehicle down the road at a constant speed, and also experimenting with mass to the vehicle and obstacle objects which was fun because when they started to collide, they started flying into the air.😂I also experienced how to code a game for the first time which was very cool and it has a similarity with website coding as well so it wasn't too bad for me to understand.  The person who teach us in the video was also very helpful and straightforward. I also like the way that he makes some error during the tutorials because it shows that even an expe

Exploring Game Design

Inspiration image about discovering new things We started this week's tasks by reading articles about defining what a game is to a more detail and in depth explanations.  I used to define "game" as one or multiple players who works together to complete certain tasks with a set of rules that they must follow whether they win or lose. However if I put more thoughts into it, the definition gets more profound and brings me more in depth about what a game truly is. As I read though the first article that was talking about particular definitions of what a game is depending on how much interaction they have with it. For example, the more interest they have about games the more knowledge they can share with people. There is an interpretation from the article that I like based on a book called "Rules of Play" by Katie Salen and Eric Zimmerman. They explained that games are a "system in which players engage in an artificial, defined by rules, that results in a quanti
